OVERVIEW AND RULES

Objective:
Every week, you will pick two car numbers and specify which car will beat the other.  For every correct pick, you will earn points which vary based on the week of the season; and you can only pick a car number as a head-to-head winner or loser once during the entire season.

Car Number Selection Rules:
1.
You will need to submit your picks before the start of the race.  The form date/time stamps your submission, as does email.  You may resubmit (or update) your picks at anytime up to 30 minutes before the green flag.  If you submit multiple picks via the Entry Form, or via Email, I will use whichever picks are received last (but at least 30 minutes before the green flag).
2.
You MUST make a selection every week.  Missing/skipping early weeks gives you an advantage in the later weeks where points are higher by giving you a larger pool of unused drivers to choose from.  If you miss a week and want to continue, I will assign your "winner" as the highest ranked car number (based on owner's points at the completion of the race in question) you have not yet used and your "loser" as the lowest ranked car number (based on owner's points at the completion of the race in question). In both cases, the assigned pick will be one that started the race in question and that you have not yet used, or been assigned over the course of the season.  You will also receive zero (0) points for that week; the driver assignments are to take them out of your pool of eligible drivers. If you miss three consecutive weeks and do not tell me otherwise, I will assume you have "quit" the league.
3.
You can use each car number as a winner one week and as a loser another week.
4.
You can only use a car number as a winner for one week, even if the driver changes.
5.
You can only use a car number as a loser for one week, even if the driver changes.
6.
In the event a car owner changes numbers mid-season, the new car number and the old car number will continue to be considered the same car, assuming the owner's points transfer to the new car (e.g., RCR changed from 3 to 29 after the Daytona tragedy).
7.

Your car numbers must start the race for you to receive points (e.g., if your "loser" doesn't start, you won't get a point for your "winner" getting a better finish -- but both will be removed from your pool of eligible drivers).  So, be sure they qualify and if anything happens that they don't start, you have until 30 minutes before the Green Flag (see Rule 1) to submit updated picks.

Scoring:
For Races 1-10, you will get two points for a correct pick (zero for an incorrect pick)
Races 11-20, you get four points for a correct point (zero for an incorrect pick)
Races 21-30, you get six points (zero for an incorrect pick)
Races 31-36, a correct pick is worth ten points (zero for an incorrect pick).
Given the rules that prohibit you from re-using a driver as either winner or loser, you will have less drivers to chose from later in the season; hence, a correct pick should be worth more.

BONUS:  If your car number pick as "Winner" does WIN the race, you will get two bonus points and if your car number pick as "Loser" finishes in the 43rd position, you will get two bonus points.  If you pick both the "Winner" and "Loser" for the week, you will get an additional two point bonus for a total of six bonus points.

Tiebreaker:
Should there be a tie at the end of the season, the following rules will be use to determine the JNN Fantasy Racing Champion:
1.
Head-to-Head between the two teams for the highest number of correct picks in Weeks 31-36; if still tied, then
2.
Head-to-Head between the two teams for the highest number of correct picks in Weeks 21-30; if still tied, then
3.
Head-to-Head between the two teams for the highest number of correct picks in Weeks 11-20; if still tied, then
4.

Greatest average margin of victory (I will compute the average margin of victory across each week of the season by taking the difference between the finishing positions of your weekly winner and loser). The highest average, will then be the champion.
